Kundalini: ABSOLUTE REALITY - She is the Universal Mother
|
This is Kundalini Shakti. This is where the Trinity – Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar merge
|
The Beautiful Mother
|
The Everything (Cosmos)
|
|
Kundalini is Shakti, She is the Supreme Being, She is your Divine Mother, She is your Guru, She is Beautiful, She is Powerful, She is Everything, She is beyond everything, There is nothing beyond her in this entire Universe. She knows everything about you. She knows your past, present and future. She knows where you came from and she knows your ultimate destination (The Bliss). Most important - She knows the SHORTEST route to the ultimate destination of your journey (which no other Yoga does).
If you give her your hand, she WILL carry you to the ultimate destination which you don’t know but she does (The Bliss). Kundalini will take you on a wonderful journey or sometimes she will take you through jungles, sometimes she will just be sleeping and sometimes she will be mad (angry) at you. Sometimes the journey will be beautiful and sometime it will be scary.
Kundalini will work actively within you during the period of meditation and she will rarely interfere in your material life, but if she does she will give bigger rewards (material) for her interference in the material life (that may have been necessitated for the spiritual progress at that point of time.)
Whether you accept her existence or not, she WILL always be with you to guide you in the right direction (as long as you continue daily spiritual practice). Rest Assured: She WILL take you to the Bliss by the shortest possible route. Because this universal mother (kundalini) knows the entire road map and what works best for you.

Kundalini
WILL free you from Bondage of Karma or Maya - Illusion
|
Your karma put you on the path of misery (bondage). Awakened Kundalini WILL burn all your karma and relive you from the bondage (maya or illusion). Sometimes she will change your destiny (prabdha karma) to reduce your material pains (misery) while other times she may give you extra pains (misery) so that karma is consumed with the changed timeline. In the process of cleaning your karma map she will also correct many of your latent and obvious deceases (believe me it is a proven process of healing which can beats the science – Read more at Why siddha yoga is supreme – Science has no answer for supremacy of Siddha yoga.)
Kundalini WILL take you to the bliss as long as you can walk with her on the path she will show you. The path is tiring and it’s a long journey, but she will be with you with her care and love.
All this is possible ONLY if you let her work through you by continuing you daily spiritual practice – meditation. Mother can never abandon the child.
Kundalini (yoga) is most powerful in the sense that the Shakti does not want you to do ANYTHING, she will do EVERYTHING. She will continue to work within you with
kriyas (consuming your karma and cleaning subtle as well as physical body as long as you are holding her hand - means doing meditation.)
Embrace Siddha yoga!! Embrace the Mother!!!

Kundalini – The physical
manifestation of the Divine

Kundalini serpent sleeping coiled 3 and half times
|
|
Kundalini is a Sanskrit word which literally means coiled. Kundalini, present in every being, is an absolute reflection of the infinite energy force (called cosmic energy or supreme contentiousness or divine) that keeps the whole universe in order. Kundalini is the primordial energy, one of the primary components of man's 'subtle body', which consists of 72,000 nadis (subtle energy channels), chakras (psychic centres), prana (subtle energy), and bindu (drops of essence). Nadis are astral
tubes that carry pranic currents. They cannot be seen with the naked eye. Scientists
have no idea about their existence. They are not the ordinary nerves, arteries and
veins that science can see.
Three Nadis are important. They are Ida, Pingala, and the Sushumna. Sushumna is
the most important because Kundalini passes through this Nadi only. The first step
in Kundalini Yoga is the purification of the Nadis. In fact the entire process of
Kundalini Yoga is about purification of 72,000 Nadis. For an average seeker (who
practices for about 45 minutes a day) it will take several decades to purify all
72,000 Nadis. Cleaning of Nadis Seminal energy, when sublimated or transformed,
supplies an abundance of prana to the system.
Prana is the nerve force, vitality which is stored in the brain and nerve centres.
It is stored in the brain in the form of 'Ojas'. For Kundalini Yoga practitioner
the seminal energy, is sublimated or transformed, supplies an abundance of Prana
to the system. Siddha Yogi stores abundant Prana by regular practice of Meditation.
The Yogi who has stored up a large supply of prana radiates strength and vitality.
Those who come in close contact with him imbibe Prana from him and get strength,
vigour, vitality and exhilaration of spirits. Just as water flows from one vessel
to another, prana flows, like a steady current, from a developed Yogi to a weaker
person. This may actually be seen by one who has developed his inner, psychic vision.
Kundalini starts upwards journey after awakening
Awakened kundalini initiates various kriyas (spontaneous movements generally categorized
into Yogic kriyas, Mystical Consciousness kriyas, Physiological kriyas, Extra Sensory
kriyas and Psychic kriyas) in the practitioner of Siddah kundalini Yoga.
Videos of Kriyas. Using these Kriyas the kundalini Shakti cleanses our physical
and spiritual (subtle) body (72,000 Nadis). This process goes on for several decades.
When Sushumna is pure, then only will the Kundalini pass through it. The progress
of kundalini through the different chakras leads to different levels of awakening
and mystical
experiences, until the kundalini finally reaches the top of the head, Sahasrara
chakra, attaining the Self-Realization or enlightenment or moksha. When kundalini
is taken to the Sahasrara (the crown of the head), when she is united with Lord
Siva, perfect Samadhi (super-conscious, blissful state) ensues. Here the Yogi drinks
the nectar of immortality.
Kundalini is described as being coiled up at the base of the spine, usually within muladhara chakra (sacrum bone). Kundalini is considered as a serpent coiled 3 and a half times around a smokey grey lingam. Three coils of the serpent power (kundalini shkati) represent 3 gunas (Trigunas), while the half coil signifies transcendence or ultimate bliss. (Is Kundalini a Snake, Liquid Fire or Light or Energy?) In case of an average individual, Kundalini lies sleeping in a dormant state in Muladhara Chakra. Therefore, Kundalini is considerend an unconscious, latent, instinctive or libidinal energy force (Shakti) that can be awakened.

Kundalini: The infinite
cosmic energy force - The Divine
|
Kundalini energy is the very foundation of our consciousness. Kundalini can be awakened from her state of slumber (deep sleep) by three methods, simplest being Shaktipat diksha by a Shaktipat Guru. Awakened kundalini initiates various kriyas (spontaneous movements generally categorized into Yogic kriyas, Mystical Consciousness kriyas, Physiological kriyas, Extra Sensory kriyas and Psychic kriyas) in the practitioner of Siddah kundalini yoga. Using these kriyas the kundalini Shakti cleanses our physical and spiritual (subtle) body. This process goes on for several decades.
When kundalini awakens our consciousness about the divine becomes more and more profound (with daily spiritual sitting, practice). Once she is awakened she is the practitioner’s Guru (spiritual master.) Most of the practitioners of the Kundalini yoga (siddha yoga) are not aware that it is the Kundalini who is their mother who will lead them to the ultimate bliss. There is tremendous interest (in the western world) about the kundalini yoga, but most of the practitioners do not know the role of the guru and the path of the practitioner after the awakening. The towards enlightenment
(self-realization) is absolutely dark (unknown to most people) after the awakening.
Here is the ABSOLUTE REALITY about Kundalini Shakti which most of the practitioners of siddha yoga have no idea about.
If you give your hand to her, Kundalini WILL carry you to your ultimate destination (The Bliss). She will take you on a wonderful journey. Sometimes she will take you
through woods and sometimes she will just be sleeping. Sometimes the journey will be beautiful and sometime it will be scary. But she makes sure you will attain the God - if you can last this long journey.

Kundalini yoga
|
Kundalini yoga is the process by which the identity of the Jivatma (individual self) and Paramatma (God) is realized by the Siddha Yogi with the help of universal mother Kundalini. Siddah Yoga means union with the God. This is the goal of human life.
Kundalini (after awakening) will start from you, will make you travel the wonderful path, and ultimately reaveal you to you (“Self”). That is where the journey ends. This is called Self-Realization (or The Divine Awareness or Nirvana or Mukti or Moksha or Salvation or The Bliss, Sat-Chit-Ananda, Chaitanya, Supreme Awareness, Supreme Consciousness or Super-Soul, or the Enlightenment)

Swami Vivekananda’s view on Kundalini
|
|
Yogi Swami Vivekananda
|
|
Swami Vivekananda described kundalini briefly in London during his lectures on Raja Yoga as follows:
"According to the Yogis, there are two nerve currents in the spinal column, called Pingala and Ida, and a hollow canal called Sushumna running through the spinal cord. At the lower end of the hollow canal is what the Yogis call the "Lotus of the kundalini". They describe it as triangular in form in which, in the symbolical language of the Yogis, there is a power called the kundalini, coiled up. When that kundalini awakes, it tries to force a passage through this hollow canal (Sushumna), and as it rises step by step, as it were, layer after layer of the mind becomes open and all the different visions and wonderful powers come to the Yogi. When it reaches the brain, the Yogi is perfectly detached from the body and mind; the soul finds itself free. We know that the spinal cord is composed in a peculiar manner. If we take the figure eight horizontally there are two parts which are connected in the middle. Suppose you add eight after eight, piled one on top of the other, that will represent the spinal cord. The left is the Ida, the right Pingala, and that hollow canal which runs through the centre of the spinal cord is the Sushumna. Where the spinal cord ends in some of the lumbar vertebrae, a fine fibre issues downwards, and the canal runs up even within that fibre, only much finer. The canal is closed at the lower end, which is situated near what is called the sacral plexus, which, according to modern physiology, is triangular in form. The different plexuses that have their centers in the spinal canal can very well stand for the different "lotuses" of the Yogi."
Important Note: Kundalini awakening itself is NOT the enlightenment. It is just a start in the long process (generally spanning over several lives) that leads to the pinnacle point of human life when self-realization is attained.
