Happiness is our nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside - Ramana Maharshi

Everything about Karma and Karmic fruits
Swami Sivananda says "Every wrong action brings its own punishment in accordance with the law of retribution. If you rob another, you rob yourself first. If you hurt another, you hurt yourself first. If you cheat another, you cheat yourself first. You have to pay the price someday. Reaction must come. No one can escape it. This is God's law."

Law of Karma - God is fair and gives you exactly what you deserve
God neither punishes the wicked nor rewards the virtuous. It is their own karmas that bring reward and punishment. It is the law of action and reaction that brings the fruits. No one should be blamed. "God does not make one suffer for no reason nor does He make one happy for no reason. God is fair and gives you exactly what you deserve." Karma is not punishment or retribution but simply an expression or consequence of natural acts. Although it may often appear like a punishment (or reward), the purpose of Karma is to perfectly follow the cosmic law (God’s system of Universal operation) and not to punish (or reward). Often the way we learn the best is to endure the same type of suffering (of happiness) that we have inflicted (or offered) on others in the past (most of the times in the past life.) This is God’s Way and Desire to make us leave the World of Maya (Veil of Ignorance or “mudhawastha” or stupefied state of mind) that brings us the sufferings and embrace the Divine Awareness (or The Bliss, Sat-Chit-Ananda, Chaitanya, Moksha, Supreme Awareness, Supreme Consciousness or Super-Soul) and be blissful eternally....Read more

How Karmic account balance is maintained and dispensed?
Our Karmic account works differently than the bank account. In case of a bank account the net balance of Credit and Debit is maintained as a total current balance. Let's take an example: If the balance is $1,000 in my bank account and I credit $100 to this account and withdraw $75 from my account, the net balance of my account is $1,025.In case of Karmic account (Sanchita Karma) the Credit (good karma) and Debit (bad karma) are always maintained separately. The Credit and debit never cancel (subtract from) each other (unlike a bank account)....Read more

Nature’s Law: Karma, Rebirth, God and You
God is neither partial nor unjust. Remember that God is not responsible for the wealth of one man or the poverty of another. You suffer on account of your own actions. There is nothing chaotic or capricious in this world. Things do not happen in this universe by accident or chance in a disorderly manner. They happen in regular succession and events follow each other in a regular order. There is a definite connection between what is being done now by you and what will happen to you in the future. .....Read more

Karma Contradiction: How can God cure if he cannot change our Karma?
Generally a person would seek God's help to cure some worldly problem e.g. disease, financial crisis, psychological problem. But these problems are on account of past karma & it is also true that God does not interfere with the law of the karma (that is what is mentioned on your site at several places). Then how can there be any cure? If God can not change our lives how can he answer to our prayers and help us cure the problem? .....Read more

Karma Contradictions: Which statement is true?
The other day I received a question. I thought I will share it with all...because these doubts occur to every "thinking" mind. [Mind is a monkey that raises doubts all the times :) and thus tries to pull the seeker away from the path of divine because it (mind) knows the seeker is seeking the ultimate destruction of it (mind.)]

Question: Which of the following statement is true?

"Not a single leaf can be moved without God's grace/ wish "
OR
"As you sow, so shall you reap"
OR
"ITS WE CREATING OUR KARMA, HOW WE CAN THROW IT ON ALMIGHTY"
OR
AND SHRI KRISHNA, TOLD IN GITA, THAT HE DON'T TAKE ANY PART IN CREATING OR DESTROYING PRARBDA OF HUMAN BEINGS.""

What is use of God who can't help? He must Help & Protect
What is the use of the God that cannot help the seeker? God is our source, our mother, our origin. He must help; Note this statement very carefully – “God has no other option but to help the seeker who can bind him in his heart” . I don’t believe in a mother that cannot be biased towards her child. There is God and He must help you. Mother must help & protect her child. She being a divine mother will try to stay away from your material world but she cannot run away from her responsibility for too long. I cannot tell the timeline or how the help will arrive. God’s ways are absolutely intricate and beyond our imagination. But, I have no doubt that God changes everything for the seeker that can knock on his door long enough, hard enough, and consistently enough. Even Prarabdha Karma rules WILL be bent for that seeker. I have no doubt about this .....Read more

Karma: Is the future totally predestined or can we change it?
Future for this life is predestined (called Prarabdha Karma). All major events (birth, education, wealth, marriage, disease) in our current life are because of Prarabdha Karma. The way consequences (events) of Prarabdha Karma are delivered is always a range not a straight line. How this range works? With least efforts an individual will remain at the bottom of that range. With maximum efforts one can be at top of that range. How broad is the range? It varies for every individual. It is broader (wider) for people with positive frame of mind and is thin for those with negative approach......Read more

Natural Calamities, Mass Deaths; Karma and Karmic fruits
Mother Nature’s wrath is currently in progress in north India. Horrible stories coming out of daily about the destruction and loss of life cause by the floods. Indian Government says 500 have died so far while some sources say the number is in few thousand. So, how does the equation of Karma fits into mass deaths because of natural calamities? What is the role of Karma, what place it has in the event of natural calamities like earthquakes, tsunami, hurricanes, in war, in genocide, in plane crashes, in the case of massacres by terrorists and so forth? Here are two sides of the Karma puzzle: One from our side of the river (human) and another from the other side of river (Divine bliss). These two sides are separated by the river called “Samsara”….world of Maya or grand illusion of mind......Read more

By helping sufferers aren't we impairing God's Karma plans?
No, Not at all. We are not impairing God's plans by helping others, because God’s plans will be executed whether we take action or not. We as human beings are NOT capable of changing God’s plans. Our right is only on Karma (action) and not on the Karma-Phala (consequences of action). If we come across a Poverty-stricken person or a maimed person or one suffering from any sort of pain or agony either mental or physical, we MUST try to help them within our limits. God wants us to help them. That is why we are brought before him that moment of time. Whether to help or not is our freedom given by the God. If we help we will receive the reward eventually.....Read more

Karma: Cause of rebirth; Is rebirth scientifically proven?
It is perfectly okay if someone does not believe in Law of Karma or direct relation between karma fruits and rebirth. Everything is fine as long as you get logical answers to events that happen in your life (and others). The problem arises when people start asking “why do I not get (or get) what other have (or don’t have). There is also an issue of illogical explanations of some religions when they claim that God’s Will is random and your life is at the mercy of God’s random will. That is simply not true.....Read more

Ideology of Karma: Does Burning of karma lead to Moksha?
You are free to not to believe in Karma and/or rebirth. If you can accept life as and accident and God's free will without any logic (to punish someone and rewards others at his happy will) everything is fine at your individual level. Everything is fine as long as you get logical (or illogical) answers to events that happen in your life (and others). The problem arises when people start asking “why do I not get (or get) what other have (or don’t have)....more those that do Karma without attachment and expectation of the fruit (Performers of the Karma yoga as explained by Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita) DO NOT generate Good or bad Karma even though we see them doing Karma just as we do. Their Karma is purified Karma without any attachment and expectation and hence it does not add to the karma balance....Read more

Karma Swatantrya – Means we as human being have complete freedom of choosing the right and wrong actions (thoughts) in our life. Karma Swatantrya applies to all the future actions and thoughts starting from this moment. At the same time Karmic freedom does not apply to the karma that is already performed (in the current and past lives)....Read more

God's message - “Do your Karma, Dont get trapped in negative A-Karma”
The message of spirituality is to do efforts to attain mental Vairagya (dispassion, indifference, nonattachment). God does not tell you to leave your Karma. That is exactly the message of Bhagavad Gita. Lord Krishna tells Arjuna “You must fight this war because you are Kshatriya and that is your Dharma (Duty). If you don’t do war you will be a looser in the material as well as spiritual world. So stop being coward, get up and start fighting the war”....Read more

We are born with the Karma and the Karma must be consumed
In my personal view, the Siddha yoga (of Kundalini yoga) is about travel of an individual towards the God (most of the times it is a long journey spanning over several lives). Healing of diseases may be possible in Siddha yoga (because of Kundalini awakening and clinzing of the Nadis and Chakra paths) but that is not the primary focus or purpose of Siddha yoga....Read more

Karma: Will a disabled person be disabled forever until enlightenment?
Once "a" Karma seed (good or bad) is consumed (with good or bad consequences in one of the lives) that particular seed is destroyed. At the same time individual carries millions of these seeds that have to fructify. A person with bad tendencies mostly creates bad seeds – so his sufferings have no end - apparently. Person with purified tendencies will mostly create good seeds – this individual has rising map of success in life after life.....Read more

Yoga is an exact science. It aims at the harmonious development of body, mind and soul. Everyone should follow one Yoga as their primary Yoga (based on their character). Then we must combine Karma Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Gyan Yoga. This “Yoga Synthesis” will lead one to the God.
