I had taken Diksha of P.P.Kaka Maharaj, three/four years back. But from October'10 till now, I was unable to do Sadhana (meditation). Hence, do I have to take diksha again? I have been suffering from sever Arthritis during this period. Now I am recovering (60%) and am able to move about in my house, but am unable to sit cross legged in asana. So what should I do? Can I sit in a chair and do sadhana? I shall be obliged if you clear my dilemma. I am 65 years old, kindly advise.

In my view – You do not need to take diksha again and you can continue with your sadhana after gap of over a year. Your kundalini should be able to reactivate soon from the point you start the sadhana. It may take few weeks before the kriyas start but I am sure eventually you should be able to come back to your original Sadhana state after few weeks or months of practice (spiritual sittings).
If you are unable to sit cross legged in the asana, you can certainly sit in a chair and do sadhana. Absolutely not a problem. I have a feeling after some time you will be hopefully be able to sit cross legged.
In case it is possible for you to visit PP Kaka Maharaj in Pune (Vasudev Nivas) or in Nashik that would help to some extent. Sadhana done before one’s Guru is extremely helpful for spiritual progress. PP Shree Lokanath Tirtha Swami Maharaj once told one of his disciples that "If you sit before me (for meditation) that one spiritual sitting is equivalent to 6 months of your spiritual progress". So powerful is the sadhana done in presence of the Guru.
You can try to visit any Math nearby of PP Shree Loknath Tirth Swami Maharaj or P P Yogiraj Shree Gulavani Maharaj or.P.P. Shri Datta Maharaj Kavishwar. Even a visit and spiritual practice at Shri Vasudev Nivas Pune would be helpful. If none of these are close to your house you can even go to PP Shri Swami Samarth math nearby and do few minutes of sadhana at the Math. Once your kundalini catches-up you will be able to get back to original state soon.
Hope this helps.
